LED DISPLAYS
Applied Concepts specializes in both standard and
custom Sunlight Readable LED displays, which are edge-lit LED systems,
utilizing the latest in High Bright LED (HBLED) technology. When
coupled with ACI’s patent-pending I-DRIVE™ LED drivers, these solutions
offer improved efficiency and superior thermal management to illuminate
LCD displays with more brightness and/or less power than traditional
CCFL approaches. Standard ProductsOur recently expanded Radiance™ line
of Sunlight Readable LED displays includes panels from NEC, AUO and
CMO, and ranges in size from 8.4" to 22.0" diagonal in SVGA, XGA , SXGA, and WSXGA+ resolutions. We've already done all the design and testing for
you. Our high bright LED displays are available off-the-shelf, and are especially
well suited for industrial markets that demand ACI's proven level of
ruggedized performance, such as order confirmation, marine and public

in our Radiance™ line? We can create your custom LED solution based on
standard industrial LCDs from the manufacturer of your choice

Whether standard or custom, all of our LED displays offer the following features:
Performance:
- Superior electrical to light efficiency allows our LED
displays to provide sunlight readability while consuming significantly
less power than comparable CCFL backlit panels.
- Each LED display is matched with our I-DRIVE™ LED drivers.
- LED backlights provide improved shock & vibration and improved brightness uniformity over CCFL backlights.
Reliability:
- ACI's LED rail design allows for open or short of one or more LEDs
without affecting the rest of the LED’s in the rail, which is a must for
mission critical displays.
- ACI's thermally efficient designs enhance the long life
characteristics of the high bright LEDs. Projected lifetime of our LED
backlights exceeds 75,000 hours.
- RoHS versions available
Convenience:
- LCD display stock optics are retained and LED backlight equipped
display outlines are identical to the standard CCFL equipped displays,
making ACI's LED displays suitable for both new and retrofit
installations.
